Children learn to observe their reactions and understand that discernment is not hesitation but thoughtful evaluation before action\u2014a fundamental responsibility to oneself, to others, and to the environment. Through collective action, they gradually recognize that every decision is interconnected with people and with the natural world. Comprehensive discernment extends beyond personal needs to understanding how to coexist and grow amid change.<\/p>\n<p>This is a stage of seeing oneself through challenge.
