Course Overview
The Integration stage represents the integration of thought and action—cultivating judgment and awareness through challenge, and allowing reflection to become the foundation for action. Children enter a period of individual challenge and group development, learning balance through cycles of breathing, rhythm, and strength, while practicing self-management, mutual support, and leadership amid pressure and differences.
As the preparation phase before open-water practice, this stage consolidates the experience accumulated in previous phases into the abilities of judgment, regulation, cooperation, and reflection. Children learn to observe their reactions and understand that discernment is not hesitation but thoughtful evaluation before action—a fundamental responsibility to oneself, to others, and to the environment. Through collective action, they gradually recognize that every decision is interconnected with people and with the natural world. Comprehensive discernment extends beyond personal needs to understanding how to coexist and grow amid change.
This is a stage of seeing oneself through challenge. Through the continual movement between reflection and action, children develop steadiness, empathy, and the capacity to move forward with clarity.
